When the moon hits your eye like a big pizza pie, that's pasquale.....
This month, the wolf moon was January 3 so we are a couple of days late but we resume the time honored tradition of the spring trimester beginning with the new year, and ending at the end of April, with the Passover/Cherry Moon, a sign of cherry pie or pizza pies or something. In other words, the Passover Moon begot the Panis Angelicus (if you believe, they put a man on the moon. Did you hear about this one?)
The university is beginning its trimester today in accordance with the 16 week trimester tradition.
Anyone hoping to qualify for a Samwise style Gardener card is required to do the three year Gesu program, to become familiar with the premise of the project. Three years, including 7 or 8 trimesters, one or two of which are summers in the agricultural/Thoreau sector, to learn how to grow stuff from scratch on up.
April first used to be the beginning of the New Year, and this was much closer to the tradition of Israel, and the Pizza Pie Passover Pane Pasch of the Priest Prophet and Prince (8 Ps.). In the January 16 Catholic reading from Samuel we see the origins of what a law professor who converted from Judaism to Catholicism, Harold Berman, called the age of the Spirit being rejected in favor of political Frankfurtian humbug; to this we position the essay from Thoreau whose writings are a text for the mini course of spring, coming around the time of Passover, in which he argues similar to Samuel that the Holy Spirit should remain always as the Kubernetes.THOREAU ON THE SPIRIT AS GOVERNOR Dante is in group blau for Engelblau College, but can be cross referenced to Bologna college for politics/history. With that in mind, here's a free Dante course from Colombia U. in NYC.DANTE

NB: the G above while not the one used for G cards in other pages, depicts the four colors of G: the blue of rain and the yellow of sun making the green of garden, (Lourdes, Fatima, Guadalupe etc.) all against the red volcano. So...what exactly are you doing here, Elijah Wood? Is that your bodyguard? Sam: I'm his gardener
The word gubernatorial presumably comes from "kubernetica". or "cybernetics", (we all say cyberspace but we don't realize where the word originated)-- the science of feedback loops popularized by Norbert Weiner a century ago and taking its title in its turn from the Greek Kubernetika, oarsman who steers the ship. The musical hymn for this might be "vieni sul mar" to suggest one possible class song. Perhaps the Gooberman gazette will go on sale to fund the printing of the course catalogue and other related stuff. It's possible. For now, this is the Gennaro edition of the monthly message when the moon is full signifying the victory of Valanga.
You go ahead and shine, Gennaro.
Gennaro: Are you talking to me?
For those who are cyber geeks, here is a free pdf of some of Wieners' writings.UBERTY EDITION OF WIENER The Valanga does not know if they obtained permission to publish the book online but there it is, so whoever wishes can research all of that. that said, This philosophy professor has a book on Uberty so that would seem to work in their favor in terms of copyright compliance.Philosophy of reason
As the moon rises, this is a very brief reflection on Leon's Landslide of Life and Majorem Hac Dilectionem which has been mentioned elsewhere. This weekend, amid the ICE uproar which has a lot to do with the drug cartels, there was also the news that Luigi Mangione had been spared death by a federal judge, and this is big news as this trial is one of the most watched in a long time. It is interesting to consider Luigi and Leon, their differences and their similarities.
Leon Montagna is a fictional professional hitman from the Luc Besson movie "Leon", an illiterate immigrant from the Mediterranean countryside who makes a living taking out New York City drug dealers. Since he believes this is a legitimate livelihood, he calls himself a "cleaner." By accident he becomes the caretaker of a 12 year old girl whose family is brutally murdered by a drug dealing DEA officer for whom the father was working, holding drugs. When Leon tells her he is a hitman, she replies, "cool", in the guileless way that only a 12 year old could say it.
The movie is quite controversial for a number of reasons but fast forward 30 years and the highly educated scion of a wealthy real estates family, Luigi Mangione, (initials LM same as Leon Montagna) guns down a real pharmaceutical dealer in the same streets of Manhattan. Some voices are saying "cool" just like Matilda did and it says something rather disturbing about our culture that we have arrived at such a real life depiction of Leon; that said, the judge decided to take the death penalty off the table. In any case, it's something to think about.
As a final thought, today is the ancient feast of candelaria or Lux Mundi (also, LM.) We really need light in our times, because light is the life of the world, and the darker it may be, the brighter the light will shine.
